Adivided bear clan is a powerless one.

Emma Elliot has a choice: step up as the alpha her clan needs or claim her own freedom by loving Mason Covey.

The adorable, free-spirited, porcupine shifter charms his way into her heart by being exactly what she needs in her life.

However, with a rival bear clan poised to take control of Elliot Clan’s resources, now is not the time to appear weak. Emma’s mother—the current alpha—wants her to follow tradition and produce bear cubs to “secure her place” as the new alpha. But what about Emma’s wishes?

What Emma wants and what her clan requires of her might be two different things. How much is she willing to sacrifice to become the leader her people need to win the coming war?

Can be read as a stand-alone. You do not need to read any of the other books in the Whiskey Witches Universe to be able to follow along. Just read it and enjoy.

This book occurs during Lizard Wizard.

Grizzly Attraction is one of those books that drags you in before you know it. Emma is trying to keep her head down and wait out her mother’s schemes as long as she can. Mason is the new guy in town and just trying to fit in. A rather tame plot line except Emma is a grizzly shifter who is next in line to head a large bear shifter clan currently headed by her very devious mother. Mason is a porcupine shifter who has never been around other shifters other than his parents, who never shifted. He grew up in a large city and hasn’t a clue about shifter society, which creates some interesting situations. Emma has an arranged engagement with Jordan, who has been raised in her family, but they are not mates and have agreed to not marry. Mason and Emma are attracted to one another, but there are many obstacles to their relationship. Unraveling all the complications and getting to their happy ever after made this a fun read.
