Notes From Frankie

This starts what is easily our most hated and loved series yet. When we first started this, we confused the absolute crap out of our readers because... this mini-series isn't your typical one-hero series.

The reviews show that they either super loved it or super hated it. LOL!

Paving Paths

Originally, Paige was supposed to go down a much different life path. At this point, she was going to have a beautiful baby girl, and we were going to enjoy some really fantastic stories with her and Dexx raising little Rai.

However, Dexx tripped on something or did something in Big Bad Djinn which happens at the same time as Desert Shaman and it completely sent all of our characters on a much, much different path than I'd intended.

Length

I'd been playing around with the idea of creating series starters as shorter books because they were going to be free leaders.

However, with the way this one was received, I decided against that.  So, yeah. This one is shorter. It's... the only one that will be shorter. I listen.

Ruth Jackson

I managed to complete the entire book in less than the time it took for the Georgia-Alabama pregame show for the National Championship game this evening and there are still ten minutes left before game time. Now I need something to read during the game while my daughter watches her friends play... This is an absolute must-read for fans of the Whiskey Witches series!

Wow, these characters are well written, and at times, genuinely funny. Plenty of twists in the plot that kept me guessing and many different magical beings, and lots of action.
